Can Franchising Really Be Affordable?

In general, franchising can cost approximately the same as it would to develop and build out many typical independently owned businesses. The answer really depends on the specific franchise under consideration, as well as each entrepreneur's unique situation.

While franchise investments vary, people will typically need a minimum of $20,000 liquid capital (cash, securities, home equity) and a net worth of at least $100,000 to meet the investment parameters of quality franchise companies.
